Lynda Schoberth
Lynda is a dedicated yoga teacher with over 15 years of yoga experience. As an E-RYT 500, she has witnessed incredible transformations on and off the mat and strives to create a warm, welcoming space for all levels—from beginners to seasoned practitioners. Holding certifications in yoga nidra, prenatal yoga, and trauma practices, she is currently studying in Chicago to incorporate cacao ceremonies and breathwork journeys into her events and retreat offerings. Many young people today seek a deeper connection to themselves and spirituality. Cacao is often considered a sacred plant that facilitates introspection and opens the heart, providing a safe space for participants to express their feelings and explore their emotions deeply. When not leading classes, events, or organizing retreats, Lynda enjoys life in Chesterton and the West Loop of Chicago with her husband, their college-aged son, and their three lively border collies.
Jill Woodburn is a dedicated yoga instructor with over 20 years of personal practice and a deep passion for sharing the transformative power of yoga. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with The Yoga Collective, based in Southern California, and holds an RYT 200 certification with Yoga Alliance. Jill's yoga journey began during her second pregnancy as a way to incorporate movement and stretching into her life. She soon discovered the profound impact of yoga beyond the physical practice. Her commitment deepened during a personal battle with a rare autoimmune disease, where she found healing and strength through restorative yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Through yoga, Jill developed self-compassion and the ability to meet herself where she was, both physically and emotionally. This experience inspires her teaching, as she aims to guide others—whether they are seasoned athletes, beginners, or those rebuilding after medical challenges—toward greater self-awareness and compassion. Jill's mission is to empower her students to embrace their unique journeys, cultivating strength, balance, and a connection to the larger community.
